Aneeta Jain Gupta, MD, DM, is a Board-certified Neurologist , Sleep Physician and Integrative health Physician at Carolina Neurology Center, PLLC, in Hendersonville and Asheville North Carolina, and she is one of Castle Connolly’s top physicians serving patients of all ages throughout Henderson County and Western North Carolina.

After completing Medical school, Internal Medicine residency, and fellowship training in Neurology from India, she came to the United States for further specialization. In the United States, she completed her residency in Neurology at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center, in Durham, NC and pursued further sub-specialty training in Epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She also completed Fellowship training in the areas of Sleep Medicine, Headache/Pain Management and Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Recently, Dr Gupta has also completed a 2 year fellowship in Integrative Medicine from Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine ( AWCIM) through University of Arizona and is Board Certified in Integrative Medicine. She applies this knowledge in treating all patients with Neurological issues.

Furthermore, she specializes in Traumatic Brain Injuries and is one of the few Workers Compensations Physicians in the western part of the state. She has been treating patients with Traumatic Brain injury due to work related injuries for the last 15 years. Majority of these patients are able to return to work with treatment. 

She has a special interest in Integrative Health and is the only Board Certified, Integrative health Neurologist in the area. She has received over 500 hours of training in the field of Yoga and Meditation and she  offers these modalities to her patients in her Clinic. 

She loves getting to know the individuals in her care. She dedicates significant time and effort to understand their symptoms and their unique needs. Dr. Gupta then uses this information to develop custom care plans that minimize uncomfortable symptoms and improve quality of life.
